On a scorching summer day, a lion and a boar arrived at a small water body, both desperately in need of a drink. A fierce argument erupted over who should drink first, as each believed they deserved the water more.

Their quarrel continued until exhaustion set in, and they paused to catch their breath. It was then that they noticed a group of vultures circling overhead. As the vultures drew nearer, the lion and the boar realized the grim truth—they were waiting for one of them to falter and become a meal.

Understanding the dire situation they faced, the lion and the boar made a wise choice. They decided that their survival was more important than their rivalry. Instead of fighting, they chose to become friends. They drank the water together and then went their separate ways, both alive and unharmed.
